Team News: Blackburn Rovers v Watford

By: Watford FC Staff

Defender Hassane Kamara is a doubt for Watford’s trip to Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night (September 13, 7.45pm KO), after being forced off against Rotherham United last time out with a muscle strain.

Ken Sema was similarly replaced in the second half of that match in South Yorkshire, and has been nursing a slight groin strain for the last couple of weeks, but it is hoped the Sweden international will be available at Ewood Park.

Elsewhere, club captain Tom Cleverley is back in training but is still not ready to be part of the squad after a calf problem. The 33-year-old has been absent since notching the winner against Burnley last month.

Imrân Louza remains sidelined as he continues his recovery from knee surgery at the end of last season. The Moroccan midfielder is making good progress, and has joined in with the main squad in some elements of their work out on the grass, but he is still a few weeks away from resuming full training.

Meanwhile, defender Jeremy Ngakia is available for the Blackburn game. The 22-year-old is yet to feature this season due to a back injury, but having returned to full training he is now in contention for selection.
