By: Watford FC Staff

Watford FC, together with our Community, Sports & Education Trust, are pleased to announce the second ‘Make Menopause Matter’ event, which will be held at the club’s Vicarage Road Stadium on Tuesday October 10.

Last year’s event was a huge success and saw a panel of guests discuss all aspects of the Menopause and the impact this has on individuals, relationships, work and home life.

The event will be held in The View at Vicarage Road, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Admission is free of charge and everyone is welcome.

The panel will be hosted by Farzana Chaudry from BBC Three Counties Radio and will include:

  • Diane Danzebrink - Menopause Support
  • Clare Searle - Local GP with expertise in the Menopause
  • Eva Mbiru – Founder/Director at Kenyan Women in Hertfordshire
  • Dave Messenger – Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Lead at Watford FC

The panel will also be discussing how businesses can support work employees who are going through different stages of the Menopause, and how families and friends can play a key role in providing support at home.

Following the panel discussion, there will be a Q&A session for attendees to discuss this hugely important topic.
