My Hometown: Ken Sema

By: Watford FC Staff

In the ‘My Hometown’ series, the Golden Boys reflect on their humble beginnings, lifting the lid on what’s special about the place they call home.

Next up is winger Ken Sema, who hails from Norrköping in Sweden...

How would you describe your hometown?

Norrköping is a small city in Sweden, about an hour-and-a-half from Stockholm. I was born and raised there, I have my family and friends there, and it’s very beautiful. It has a lot of nice architecture and lakes you can stroll around.

Traditional dish?

I don’t know about a traditional dish, but the pizza is really good there. I think it’s the best in Sweden!

Drink you’d have with it?

There isn't really a specific drink that’s special to Norrköping, I don’t think. I don’t drink alcohol, but I usually have normal stuff like water and juice.

Favourite restaurant?

Stadsvakten - it’s a steakhouse, and the meat there is amazing!

Sight you have to see?

The trams there are really special, and really unique. Of course, the lakes and architecture are a must-see as well.

If you could introduce a visitor to one person?

There are quite a few famous people from Norrköping - a handful have played basketball in the NBA. It’s quite a successful place, but I would say they have to meet me!
