Former Arsenal, Chelsea, London Bees and Spurs defender Anne Meiwald signed for the Golden Girls in the summer of 2019, after overcoming two ACL injuries to twice win promotion in yellow.
An established member of the first team, the centre-back adds steel to the backline and also offers a threat in the attacking third when going forward, scoring the 2021/22 Goal of the Season against Liverpool.
Meiwald was a mainstay in the Hornets’ promotion-winning side in 2022/23, making 27 appearances and netting twice.
Those talents extend to the sand as well as the grass, with Meiwald winning the European Beach Soccer League in the summer of 2021.
