The Match

The Golden Girls will be heading into Sunday’s match-up with confidence, having dominated the vast majority of their 3-0 defeat at the hands of Sunderland just a fortnight ago.

The international break would have left Interim Head Coach Matt Bevans mulling over his options as the emergency loan of Beth Howard came to its conclusion, a departure that leaves him with a big call to make between the sticks come Sunday.

Whilst Bevans and his coaches worry about who dons the gloves on Sunday, they’ll be buoyed by the prospects of Arsenal dual-sign youngster Michelle Agyemang, who featured heavily for the Young Lionesses over the international break, taking another step forward in her return to full fitness, with fellow Arsenal starlet Laila Harbert also looking to make her return from a short spell on the sidelines.
