Team News: Southampton v Watford

By: Watford FC Staff

Kiko Femenía and Joshua King will both have their fitness assessed ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League trip to Southampton (Sunday March 13, 2pm KO).

Right-back Femenía was substituted during Thursday’s Wolves match with a groin problem and a decision on his involvement at St Mary’s will be made following the assessment of scan results.

Striker King was withdrawn during half-time at Molineux due to neck pain and the Norway international will be evaluated before the squad travels to Hampshire.

Jeremy Ngakia (hamstring) and William Troost-Ekong (groin) are both fit and available for selection this weekend.

Ismaïla Sarr (hamstring) did some light ball work on the London Colney training pitches yesterday (Friday March 11) and is progressing well, but the Southampton fixture comes too soon for the Senegalese winger.

Nicolas Nkoulou (hamstring) will re-join full training next week, however Kwadwo Baah is being assessed after sustaining an ankle injury in training during the week.
