Season Tickets 2021/22: Renewals Update

Watford FC's Supporter Services Team is currently making its final preparations for the sale of Watford FC 2021/22 Season Tickets – and will soon be emailing directly to 'Secure Your Seat' buyers to confirm pricing and timelines.

In summary, the same single price will be offered to ALL 'Secure Your Seat' buyers, regardless of whether Season Ticket holders from 2019/20 were Phase 1 or Phase 2 buyers.

Remember, for your £20 deposit, the club has marked on its ticketing system that your Season Ticket tenure includes the 2020/21 campaign, thus all such records will show as unbroken – despite Covid constraints.

The Supporter Services Team – which deals with all ticketing, supporter welfare and community-focused enquiries – has been using the time without ticket sales to effect positive changes which will significantly improve ticket purchasing processes. There'll be further detail on those soon but one of the key features being introduced is the provision of a new paperless DD (Direct Debit) system which will now spread payments across 12 monthly instalments.

This 12-month rolling DD facility will be available to all 12,000+ 'Secure Your Seat' buyers offered the initial chance to renew their Vicarage Road vows ahead of the Hornets' return to Premier League action in August 2021. The club hopes this will offer a more manageable payment solution to supporters whose finances have been negatively affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Of course, the options to pay the full renewal price by card online or by cash at the window of the VR Ticket Office will also be available to 'Secure Your Seat' buyers.

Supporter Services Team staff are now awaiting the final system changes to be implemented before the ST 2021/22 email can be sent out to 'Secure Your Seat' buyers. This includes the application of credits held on account from 2019/20 purchases plus the £20 deposit paid to 'Secure Your Seat' during late summer 2020.

Once the renewals deadline has passed, there will be a systems access shut-down to allow for the processing and secure migrating of all data.

The club's Supporter Services Team expects to be able to offer a 'Seat Move Window' to renewers in early July, before the sale of new Season Tickets - drawn from names on the Season Ticket Waiting List HERE, as well as 2019/20 Season Ticket holders who didn’t commit to the ‘Secure Your Seat’ offering - takes place during the middle part of July.
