By: Watford FC Staff

Mileta Rajović spoke to the media after the Hornets’ 2-2 draw with Millwall at Vicarage Road, with the Great Dane notching the crucial equaliser in second-half injury time.

Fellow Golden Boy Yáser Asprilla opened the scoring with his second goal of the season early on, while Lions duo Zian Flemming and Wes Harding also etched their names on the scoresheet.

Read Rajović’s thoughts below…

On scoring the equaliser:

That’s my job, to come in in those situations and help the team score goals.

I felt we were the better team today so I think we deserved more, but it’s nice to come in and score a late goal to make it a draw.

It was 10 minutes before we had the same situation; Imrân [Louza] put in a good ball and I almost had it and then the second time it went in!

On entering a physical encounter:

They are physical, but so am I. I always feel I can challenge when the ball is in the air, and when the ball goes into the box it’s my job to score.

We always hope and believe that we can win, unfortunately we didn’t today but we were down after they scored a late goal, so it was nice to get a point, even though we deserved more.

I want to help the team as best as possible, so if the coach wants me to start on the bench and come in or start the game, I’m happy.

On settling into English football:

I like it. In the beginning I have to get used to everything, learn about the team, but I think it’s going well and I’m enjoying it.

It’s a strong league, with some good teams and great players. I’m glad to be here and I want to show my qualities. I want to score goals and make the fans happy.

I want to learn; it’s a big club with great fans so I’m trying my best to learn and do my best every day in training to develop my game.

I like everything about [England]. For me it’s the same if I’m in Denmark or Sweden or England, I’m very focused on football.
