On the result:

I thought we were sluggish first half. They didn’t really create any opportunities and then that one lapse in concentration, [Josh] Bowler’s got the chop on us, sent two of our players the wrong way and to be fair to him it’s a really good finish. You’ve half got to take your hat off to him with the quality of the finish but obviously for us it’s not enough, we want to be winning games at home.

Games like today we are going into it confident and fully thinking that we're going to get a good result, but we’ve let ourselves down a bit.

Second half there was a bit of injection with the boys who came off the bench, I think we looked livelier when they came on. We got into some good areas, we just weren't taking our chances. It was one of those days in the end when the ball wasn’t going to go in for us.

On not turning possession into goals:

We got ourselves into decent situations and then our final pass was off. They were cutting out final passes and our end product wasn’t good enough.

We had chances to hit the target and we weren’t pulling the trigger. That’s something we have to work on. Defensively they just had one, two opportunities, and when it’s a quality finish you have to hold your hands up.

On home form:

As a club we want to be involved in contention with the play-offs. There’s no two ways about it.

We just need to up our performances and become more solid, especially at home where we haven’t won in the league since before Christmas.

We can’t put our finger on why that is; the pitch we have here is amazing and there’s no excuses not to be playing good football on that, it’s a carpet.

On Emmanuel Dennis:

He came on and added a bit of injection. He’s still got to get fit, he’s not been playing much.

He needs to get match ready. Once he’s fit he can maybe have some more input in the games.

On the FA Cup replay with Southampton:

There’s a few lads who haven’t played who I’m sure will get an opportunity. It’s probably a good distraction. Then obviously we’ve got a big game against the league leaders [Leicester], which is obviously going to be very important.
