Reaction: Bayo Speaks After Middlesbrough Loss

By: Watford FC Staff

Vakoun Bayo spoke to watfordfc.com following a 3-2 defeat to Middlesbrough at Vicarage Road.

The striker scored his third goal of the season upon his recall to the starting XI, but the Hornets were ultimately defeated in the Sky Bet Championship contest.

Read Bayo’s thoughts below…

We are very disappointed today. It’s been a lot of games now and we are still looking for some wins. Today again, we lost, and we are very disappointed.

They made it a little bit difficult for us, especially in the first half, we let them play and they had a lot of space to create something. In the second half we did better, but we miss again, and we go onto next week.

We learned that [move leading to my goal] in training. I know if one of our midfielders or defenders has the ball to make this kind of run, so I made it, and that’s that.

There are some very important games coming [against Sunderland and Cardiff City away]. We will forget about today and keep fighting, and hopefully we come back with a win.
