The WD18 fan channel is inviting Hornets supporters to come and enjoy the inaugural WD18 Charity Football Tournament.

The event – which will take place at West Herts Sports Club in Watford on Saturday March 23 – is in aid of Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care and Hertfordshire Mind.

An online charity raffle and auction are currently being held, with prizes including a Craig Cathcart FA Cup final match-worn and signed shirt, an Emmanuel Dennis match-worn and signed shirt, a men’s and women’s first-team squad signed shirt, two hospitality tickets for the first home game of the men’s 2024/25 season, and more.

Ten teams will play in two groups of five, before two semi-finals and a final, all in a seven-a-side format.

The first game will start at 12noon, with the raffle and auction winners being announced and presented at 4pm and 5.30pm respectively. The final is expected to finish before 5.30pm and will be followed by a presentation of the WD18 Cup to the winning team.

There is free parking at the venue and a bar, food and soft drinks will also be available throughout the day.
