Emmanuel Dennis has been named winner of the Hornets’ March Goal of the Month award for his solo strike against Leeds United.
The Nigerian scored Watford’s second goal in the Good Friday clash at Vicarage Road with a superb individual effort.
After winning an aerial duel to set the move in motion, the goal was all of his own making as he cut inside superbly onto his left foot.
Dennis showed off skills including two stepovers before an unstoppable drive into the bottom corner, which he celebrated with a backflip.
The strike received more than 1,400 votes from Hornets supporters on the club’s WhatsApp channel to win the March award.
Three other goals were also in the running for the prize, with Ryan Porteous’ looping header against Coventry City winning the second highest number of votes.
Dennis also finished third thanks to his winner against Birmingham City, while Vakoun Bayo’s volley in the Leeds game finished fourth.
