FPL Watch: Bargain Options In Defence, Midfield And Attack

By: Watford FC Staff

Despite two narrow defeats to Leicester City and Chelsea the Hornets have displayed quality across the pitch in their last two matches, presenting intriguing options for Fantasy Premier League managers in Gameweek 15.

Emmanuel Dennis has continued his consistent form in attack, notching two goals in the last two Premier League games. The Nigerian forward has now scored six times this season, and has also picked up five assists.

Dennis shook off a knock to impress against Chelsea on Wednesday night, and could continue his goalscoring form against the top sides this weekend in the meeting with Manchester City at Vicarage Road. Priced at £5.4m (an increase on previous gameweeks), Dennis remains of great value in the front three.

Looking to the midfield, Moussa Sissoko notched an assist for Dennis against the Blues in midweek and is just £4.5m on FPL. The Frenchman has a tendency to burst forward with the ball and find attackers, giving him plenty of potential for more contributions.

Following the news that Adam Masina may be out of action after sustaining an injury against Chelsea, Danny Rose may be one to look out for in Fantasy Premier League.

The left-back was able to press high up the pitch against the Blues, firing a threatening shot at goalkeeper Édouard Mendy and delivering dangerous crosses into the box. Rose is one of the cheapest defenders in the game, priced at just £4.2m.
