He's back! Emmanuel Dennis is once again a Hornet, with the fan favourite agreeing a deal that sees him come back on loan until the end of the season.

To mark his return, here are a selection of memorable and noteworthy games from the Nigerian's first spell with the club, including a debut goal, an outrageous cameo, and a crazy celebration or two thrown in for good measure.

Debut: Watford 3-2 Aston Villa, August 14, 2021

Dennis first signed for Watford relatively out of the blue, with most fans only aware of his brace against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.

It didn't take the Nigerian long to announce himself to the Hornets faithful. In fact, just 10 minutes into his Premier League debut, he sent Vicarage Road into raptures by smashing home on the rebound to give the Golden Boys the lead against Aston Villa on their return to the Premier League.

He also provided the assist for Ismalia Sarr to double the advantage, and was key as the side started the 2021/22 campaign in the perfect way, picking up three points.

Flippin' Great: Norwich City 1-3 Watford, September 18, 2021

Dennis was again at the forefront of things as the Hornets looked to recover from a three-game losing streak in the league when they headed to Carrow Road.

A pinpoint cross from the right delivered by Kiko Femenia found the striker, positioned excellently to cushion a header beyond the reach of Tim Krul to give the Hornets the first goal in a 3-1 away win.

It wasn't the header that stole the headlines however, it was the celebration - an incredibly clean backflip that sent the Norwich fans flipping mad.

Doing The Job: Watford 4-1 Manchester United, November 20, 2021

The Hornets have enjoyed an impressive record over the Red Devils at Vicarage Road over recent years, with the side reaching their full attacking potential in what would prove to be Ole Gunnar Solskjær's last match in charge of Manchester United.

Dennis played a key role in setting up Joshua King for the first goal of the game, and was imperative in securing the win in stoppage time.

He played João Pedro into the box for his smart finish for Watford's third, before adding a fourth himself by finding the far corner with a drilled shot. A famous victory, with the Nigerian pronouncing post-match: "I ******* did the job."

Gamechanger: Everton 2-5 Watford, October 23, 2021

The Hornets came into the game at Merseyside hoping to bounce back from a 5-0 defeat at the hands of their opponents' arch-rivals Liverpool.

Dennis started on the bench and wasn't introduced until the 65th minute, with Watford trailing 2-1.

What ensued is one of the most memorable turnarounds in Watford history, with the Hornets scoring four goals from the 78th minute onwards to record a crazy 5-2 win. Dennis changed the game, picking up one goal and two assists in an outrageous cameo.

Winter Wonderland: Leicester City 4-2 Watford, November 28, 2021

One of those goals that sticks with you for several reasons, but the result certainly isn't one of them.

When the game kicked off in Leicester, there was a chill in the air, but the pitch was clear. An hour later, visibility was severely limited, and the turf was covered in snow.

Despite this, Dennis kept his cool when fed through on goal, even rolling the ball to deceive the keeper and record one of the coldest finishes in recent memory.
