With this in mind, the club takes brand protection extremely seriously when organisations or people produce and sell illegitimate or fake Watford FC branded goods without authorisation. Counterfeit goods are damaging to the club, with their goal to profit without contributing to the club’s success or fans’ enjoyment.
Protecting the brand allows the club to retain control over the quality of the merchandise and services which Watford FC is associated with, while reinvesting the money back into the club.
Supporters can help play their part in reporting any instances of counterfeiting or brand abuse by emailing brandprotection@watfordfc.com, with all information provided treated in the strictest confidentiality, and only shared with the relevant and trusted law enforcement authorities.
