Watford beat Norwich City at Carrow Road at the weekend, with Emmanuel Dennis’ opener and an Ismaïla Sarr brace securing an impressive 3-1 win.

Following such a great performance that lifted the Hornets up to 11th in the Premier League table, players and staff took to social media to reflect on their success.

Tom Cleverley

Captain Cleverley led the Hornets out against the Canaries, and produced a brilliant pass to help set up Watford’s third goal of the game.

Ben Foster

Foster started his first Premier League game of the season and made an instant impact, keeping out multiple Norwich attempts on goal including Milot Rashica’s strike from just inside the box.

Kiko Femenía

The full-back produced a fantastic cross to set up Emmanuel Dennis for Watford’s first goal, on the Spaniard’s first Premier League appearance of the campaign.

Joshua King

The striker had a great game and played a huge role in the third goal for Watford, with his strike parried towards Sarr who slotted the ball past Tim Krul in the Norwich goal.

Moussa Sissoko

Watford’s recent recruit kept Norwich at arms-length and was serenaded throughout the game by the travelling support.

William Troost-Ekong

Troost-Ekong made a crucial block to keep out Norwich menace Josh Sargent, capping a fine performance in the centre of defence.

The 21-year-old full-back came on in place of Femenía with 30 minutes to go, playing an important role in Watford’s second goal of the afternoon.
