Having joined the club at nine years old, Albert Eames has continued to work his way up the youth system at Vicarage Road.
Eames featured for the Under-18 and Under-21 sides during the 2023/24 season, and signed a three-year professional deal with the club in April 2024.
A right-back who likes to attack and defend, Eames brings others into the game and is also effective with crossing into the box.
In August 2023, Eames scored with a long-range finish for the Under-21s in a 3-1 defeat against Fleetwood Town at Vicarage Road.
He participated in first-team training after the appointment of Interim Head Coach Tom Cleverley in March 2024, and was named on the bench for the Sky Bet Championship visit to Birmingham City.
Eames then made his first-team debut after coming on as a substitute against Middlesbrough in May 2024.
