The Golden Boys' Tommie Hoban made his debut for new loan side Aberdeen last night as the Dons drew 1-1 against Premier League outfit Burnley in the Europa League Qualifying Second Round.
Hoban started and played the full game, something that will surely have pleased the 24-year-old defender after a season disrupted by injury in 2017/18.
The home-grown Hornet played at left-back - a position not entirely unfamiliar to Hoban, having played there a handful of times for Watford in the Championship.
Gary Mackay-Steven had put the Scottish side ahead with a penalty in the 19th minute in an all-action affair, but Burnley's Sam Vokes turned and smashed home an equaliser with 10 minutes remaining to level the tie and set up a tasty second leg.
Aberdeen will travel to Turf Moor for the second leg on Thursday August 2.
