Official: Folivi Returns To Dons

Michael Folivi will spend the 2019/20 campaign on a season-long loan at AFC Wimbledon.

The 21-year-old striker was with the Dons during the second half of last season, scoring twice in 11 outings as Wally Downes' side successfully avoided relegation from League One.

Academy: Host Families Wanted

Watford FC’s Academy are looking to recruit potential host families to support young players aged between 16 to 23 years old.

The Academy currently have around 180 young players, some of whom stay with host families, allowing them to take the opportunity of full-time employment at the football club as either an apprentice or a professional player.

The Academy are looking for families in central Watford and the St Albans or London Colney area who can provide a room (per player) and an evening meal in either a six-night per week or seven-night per week agreement as well as providing a suitable and safe environment.

Transport is provided by the club for each player.

If you feel you would be able to successfully support some of the club's young players, please send an e-mail to our Academy Welfare and Safeguarding Manager Carlan Edgar - carlan.edgar@watfordfc.com - expressing your interest.

As part of the recruitment process the club would complete several visits to determine the suitability of location and to ensure that the home meets the requirements for hosting a young player with the football club.

This role will have regular contact with children, and it is therefore required by law to have a DBS Enhanced Criminal Record Check with children’s barred list check for all house occupants aged 18 or older.

Closing date for applications: Ongoing

Watford Football Club is an Equal Opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
