Alfie Marriott, born in Watford, joined the Hornets in 2012.
The goalkeeper is part of the club’s Under-21s team, having been offered a third-year scholarship at the end of an impressive 2021/22 season.
While playing for Watford’s youth sides, Marriott also moved on loan to Kings Langley in 2021 until April 2022, where he made a vital penalty save on the final day of the season to help the Kings escape relegation from the Southern League Premier Division South.
Marriott was part of the Golden Boys’ first-team travelling matchday squad on several occasions during 2022/23.
In July 2023, Marriott was rewarded with a new two-year deal with an additional year's option.
