Having joined the club at nine years old, Albert Eames has continued to work his way up the youth system at Vicarage Road.
Now a second-year scholar, Eames has featured for the Under-18 and Under-21 sides during the 2023/24 season.
A right-back who likes to attack and defend, Eames brings others into the game and is also effective with crossing into the box.
In August 2023, Eames scored with a long-range finish for the Under-21s in a 3-1 defeat against Fleetwood Town at Vicarage Road.
He participated in first-team training after the appointment of Interim Head Coach Tom Cleverley in March 2024, and was named on the bench for the Sky Bet Championship visit to Birmingham City.
