Joseph Hungbo joined Watford from Crystal Palace in July 2019.
Hungbo joined the Eagles as an Under-9 and was voted Under-9 to Under-16 Player of the Season while at Crystal Palace, later captaining the club’s Under-18 side. After signing a professional contract at Selhurst Park in 2018, he spent the second half of the 2018/19 season on loan at Margate.
The Hornets snapped Hungbo up in July 2019 and the winger made an instant impression, scoring 12 goals for the Under-23s during the first half of the 2019/20 season.
He made his first-team debut for Watford in January 2020, in an FA Cup third-round replay against Tranmere Rovers, and his league debut came the following year, in a 2-0 Championship victory against Wycombe Wanderers in March 2021.
The winger spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Scottish Premiership side Ross County, winning the Young Player and Goal of the Season awards.
