DR Congo international midfielder Edo Kayembe joined Watford on January 7 2022, from Belgian side KAS Eupen.
An energetic, left-footed central midfielder, Kayembe signed for the Hornets after plying his trade in the Belgian top flight for five years.
After signing for Anderlecht from Sharks XI Kinshasa in his native country in late 2016, Kayembe progressed through the youth ranks to make 39 senior appearances - including two Europa League games - before making the switch to Eupen in 2020.
The box-to-box enforcer - progressive with the ball and a skilled passer - played for Eupen 17 times in the league during the 2021/22 season, scoring on four occasions to help his side up to 12th in the Belgian First Division A by the time of his departure.
He made 13 league appearances in his debut season at Watford, playing his first game away at Newcastle United in January.
Kayembe has established himself as a regular for DR Congo since making his debut in a 1-1 draw against Algeria in October 2019.
