Lancaster joined the Golden Girls in October 2016, originally as Head Coach of the Under 23/Development Team.
The A-License holder also had a spell as Assistant Coach for the First Team, before being named the new Head Coach of the senior side in September 2019.
His impact was immediate, winning Manager of the Month only a few months later. During the curtailed 2019/20 and 2020/21 campaigns, Clinton’s squads won 15 out of 19 league games, which helped Watford to a place in the Championship via upward movement.
The 33-year-old’s other experience includes coaching the Chelsea youth development teams, while also being an Assistant Manager at Crystal Palace Women, where he helped them win the FA WPL South East.
