The latest opportunity to work with Watford FC's Ladies setup

Careers | Casual Ladies Kit Person

Closing date for applications is 12noon, Wednesday March 15, 2017

Employer: Watford Football Club

Job Title: Kit Person – Watford FC Ladies

Salary: Competitive Sessional Rates

Location: Harefield Academy and Kings Langley FC

Contract Type: Casual agreement

Passport/Visa: Must be eligible to work in the UK

Interviews: April 2017

Watford Ladies are looking to recruit a casual Kit Person, reporting to the General Manager.

In summer 2017, Adidas will be the Club’s new Technical Partner and we are looking for an organised, conscientious and hard-working team player to join the set-up.

The Kit Person will assist with the provision of a full kit service to the First Team and Development Team, working within a small team in an often highly pressurised environment.

The role will require the ability to travel between Club locations and to all first-team home and away fixtures. Watford Ladies train at The Harefield Academy and generally play on Sunday afternoons at Kings Langley FC.

You will need to be flexible with your working hours and days as the working pattern can be different from one week to the next. You will be expected to work weekends and this can include long trips that on some occasions mean staying away on the night previous to the fixture.

Some fixtures during the season may be played midweek with an evening kick off and you will be required to work these games. Due to the busy nature of the job and industry you will be working in, holiday time on match-days will be very limited.

The post holder will prepare kit requirements for both match-day and training plus will include being in charge of preparing the match-day kits from Development to First Team level.

This role will be to make sure that all the kit is sufficiently washed, dried and folded ready to go out for matches.

Key Responsibilities include:

* To manage the club’s kit requirements, ensuring that all day to day duties are completed;

* To deal with the first-team management and staff’s kit requirements and attend staff meetings that require the kit department to have an input;

* To organise kit distribution and collection.

Application process

If you are interested in applying, please send your CV, a copy of your relevant qualifications with a covering letter outlining your suitability for the role via email to the General Manager, Ellie Kemp at
