Gerard Deulofeu and Roberto Pereyra could come into the reckoning to face Huddersfield Town on Saturday after both returned to full training this week.

The creative duo have only played a minimal part in training since the memorable FA Cup semi-final win and missed the game against Arsenal on Monday night. But Javi Gracia could be boosted by the return of the pair, who have scored 15 goals between them this season, for the trip to John Smith’s Stadium after they took a full part in this morning’s session.

“Both trained with the team and we’ll see tomorrow how they are to play,” said Gracia. “We’ll decide tomorrow. Maybe [they can play]. We have another training session tomorrow and we’ll decide. I’m optimistic both will be ready, but I think they are close to coming back.”

José Holebas is still out with the hamstring problem that forced him off in extra-time of the game at Wembley.

“In the next week or two weeks he will be ready for sure,” said Gracia.

The Head Coach said Adalberto Peñaranda is still out injured and remains “optimistic” Tom Cleverley will be back soon. “We are not sure when, but he will be available for some games,” said Gracia.

Domingos Quina, however, has played his last game of the campaign. He dislocated his shoulder in training last week.

“Domingos has an important problem in his shoulder,” said Gracia. “He will need some time to recover. He won’t be ready this season.”

Also unavailable to Gracia is Troy Deeney, the captain. The club appealed the red card shown to the 30-year-old against Arsenal but the decision and the three-match ban was upheld by the Football Association.

“I saw the game again and it didn’t change my opinion,” said Gracia “It’s the same. For me, it’s not a red card and the club appealed but I think we’ve lost. We have to play the next games without Troy, to be ready to compete without him. Like with the rest of the games, I never complain about the players we don't have. We prefer to give value to the players we have and I try to choose the best XI, the best to compete in the next game.”
