Javi Gracia could be boosted by the return of four players for the visit of Everton on Saturday as the Hornets' injury woes show signs of finally easing.

Heurelho Gomes, Miguel Britos, Will Hughes and Kiko Femenía have all been in full training in the two-week break between games and all four are being considered for selection in what will be a huge boost to the team and the fans.

“All of them have the possibility to come back,” said Gracia. “The team need them. It is possible some of them go into the team. Tomorrow we will decide. It is possible they will be available to participate in the match. They are not 100 per cent but they trained with the team this week.”

Britos has missed the last 16 games after being substituted at Newcastle following a collision with Jonjo Shelvey and his return will be welcome as Gracia has had to play Josè Holebas as an emergency centre-half and call up Joy Mukena from the Under-23 side to provide cover the bench.

Gomes has missed the last five with a back problem and his availability provides Gracia with a genuine selection dilemma as Orestis Karnezis has performed very well in the absence of the big Brazilian.

Femenía has not been seen in action since he limped off with a hamstring problem at the end of the gut-wrenching 2-1 defeat at Crystal Palace on December 12 and there is real excitement at the potential partnership down the right between him and fellow flier Gerard Deulofeu.

The return of Hughes also increases Gracia's attacking options. The summer signing from Derby County was just starting to hit top form when he suffered a hamstring injury, scoring in back to back games, and he will be looking to make up for lost time after missing the last 15 games.

Gracia also said Stefano Okaka is available for selection and that Troy Deeney is fitter than he was against West Ham when he was hampered by an ankle problem. However, Younès Kaboul, Christian Kabasele, Tom Cleverley and Nathaniel Chalobah are still sidelined and are still under the supervision of the club's medical team.
