Sebastian Prödl looks ahead to Saturday's trip to Bournemouth

Prödl | “One Of Our More Important Games So Far”

Following a run of form which has seen the Hornets pick up just one win from their last seven league outings, Sebastian Prödl believes this weekend's clash against Bournemouth is the biggest of the season to date.

Bournemouth have also struggled for wins recently and sit just three places and two points above Walter Mazzarri's men ahead of this Saturday's match at the Vitality Stadium, where a win for either side could potentially provide the catalyst needed for the rest of the campaign.

The two sides drew 2-2 at The Vic earlier in the season, while the points were also shared in both of last season's league meetings, and Prödl is expecting another tough challenge from Eddie Howe's side.

"It’s always been a difficult game," Prödl told Premier League Productions.

"I think we’ve played three times against them now in the Premier League and three times it’s been a draw. It’s always been very equal with both teams having chances to win.

"We have to make sure we get back our positive ways which we had a few weeks ago and climb the table again.

"We don’t want to be near the bottom because there’s a lot of pressure in terms of relegation, so obviously Bournemouth is one of the more important games in our season so far."
