12/08/17 - Watford v Liverpool
It's the 93rd minute, on the first day of the season, and the Golden Boys are 3-2 down to Liverpool at The Vic. Step forward Miguel Britos, nodding in from close-range to save the day!
19/08/17 - AFC Bournemouth v Watford
An away day to cherish for those bouncing, noisy, wonderful Watford fans that squeezed into the away section at the Vitality Stadium. Richarlison and Étienne Capoue scored that day for the Hornets, the former bagging his first in his first start, as Watford finished the day in third place.
09/09/17 - Southampton v Watford
The South Coast was starting to become the Hornets' favourite place to be, as another scintillating performance ended in a 2-0 win, thanks to Abdoulaye Doucouré and Daryl Janmaat.
23/09/17 - Swansea City v Watford
Roque Mesa's least memorable moment in a Swansea shirt led to possibly one of Richarlison's best. Troy Deeney deflected the ball from a casual Mesa pass, and the ball fortuitously fell to Richarlison. The young Brazilian drove forward and lifted it over the goalkeeper, the ball ricocheting off the bar and in as the Golden Boys stole a win in the dying moments.
30/09/17 - West Bromwich Albion v Watford
It was that boy Richarlison again, scoring late, again - this time against the Baggies. A free-kick whipped into the area, Richarlison rose highest, headed home, and Heurelho Gomes - sent up for the late set-piece - ran off as if he was the one that scored!
14/10/17 - Watford v Arsenal
The Golden Boys had become the masters of the late, late show, as Tom Cleverley ran into the box, pounced on a loose ball and fired it into the roof of the net to defeat the Gunners right at the death.
19/11/17 - Watford v West Ham United
Heurelho Gomes, baby! Heurelho Gomes, woah-oh!
The Hornets' gloveman can stake a claim to winning this game for his side, after denying Cheikhou Kouyaté from 10 yards, stopping Marko Arnautović with a spectacular double-save, and suffocating any hope the Hammers had of scoring.
25/11/17 - Newcastle United v Watford
Andre Gray came out on top in this mirror-image moment. The 'Orns produced a wonderful away performance, sticking three in the back of the net at St James' Park to ensure the long journey home for the travelling fans would be a happy one.
26/12/17 - Watford v Leicester City
A late Christmas present from the Golden Boys saw Molla Wagué score against his old loan side, on his first start for the club. With the Golden Boys a goal down, a corner right before half time presented an opportunity to head into the break all-square. Wagué took that opportunity, stealing in at the back post to tap in.
13/01/18 - Watford v Southampton
The result - a 2-2 draw against the Saints - is not one that has any great significance, but the atmosphere that day will live on in the memory of many Watford supporters. Before the first whistle was blown thousands of fans held their scarves aloft in tribute to Graham Taylor OBE, the club's greatest-ever manager, a year on from his passing.
05/02/18 - Watford v Chelsea
Javi Gracia's first match in charge at The Vic could hardly have gone any better. Deeney, Janmaat, Gerard Deulofeu and Roberto Pereyra all scored as the Hornets blazed past the champions in a yellow blur.
24/02/18 - Watford v Everton
A second consecutive home win saw the Golden Boys ease any relegation fears, as a scrappy game yielded a wonderfully vibrant atmosphere, under an equally colourful sky above Vicarage Road.
03/03/18 - Watford v West Bromwich Albion
The Vic was proving a tough place to come for most sides, but it was especially tough for the Baggies who were desperately in need of points to try and remain in the league. Deeney, who had scored in the last home game against Everton, got on the scoresheet again as he chipped former Hornets loanee Ben Foster.
05/05/18 - Watford v Newcastle United
Pereyra embodied the first half Watford performance that left the Magpies gasping for breath, as the Hornets signed-off the final home game of the campaign. The Argentine scored one and set up another, and that meant Watford would enjoy a four-game winning streak against the Toon.
