Official | Carrillo Comes To Watford

Benfica winger André Carrillo has today completed a season-long loan move to Watford.

The Hornets have secured the services of the 26-year-old Peru international for the whole of the 2017/18 campaign, with the option for a permanent transfer next summer.

Right-sided attacker Carrillo reunites with Marco Silva, having previously played under the Hornets’ Head Coach at Sporting Lisbon.

After starting out with Peruvian outfit Alianza Lima, Carrillo transferred to Sporting Lisbon in 2011 and went on to play 160 times, winning the Taça de Portugal trophy under Silva in 2014/15.

He then signed for Benfica in 2016 and featured 24 times last season as the Lisbon-based side secured a Primeira Liga, Taça de Portugal and Portugese Super Cup treble.

Carrillo has represented the Peru national team on 35 occasions.
