I'm very excited, and I’m very happy to join Watford FC
Highly-rated youngster Obbi Oularé began his career at Lille as an academy graduate before joining Belgian Pro League side Club Brugge. The forward scored nine goals in 39 appearances for the Belgian side, including 14 starts.
A Belgium Under-21 international, Oularé moved to Club Brugge in 2013 and was part of the squad that faced Manchester United in the Champions League qualifying stages just weeks before his switch to Watford.
The striker signed a five-year permanent deal on transfer deadline day at the start of September 2015. Oularé found first team appearances hard to come by and had to wait until January 2016 to make his Watford debut, making the starting 11 in the FA Cup Third Round win against Newcastle United. Oularé went onto make two substitute appearances in the Premier League in 2015/16.
Oularé went on loan at Willem II in the Netherlands in 2017, before spending time at Royal Antwerp during the 2017/18 season. He scored three goals in 16 appearances during his time in Belgium.
On August 23, 2018, he agreed a season-long loan move to Standard Liege.
