Watford striker Obbi Oularé netted his first goal for Willem II as they beat Vitesse 2-0 in the Eredivisie on Saturday.

The young Belgian played the full 90 minutes, striking in the final moments of the game to seal victory for his side and move them further clear of the drop zone.

Staying in the Netherlands, Steven Berghuis played another important role in a Feyenoord victory as they maintained their position at the summit.

The Dutchman’s cross was met by Jens Toornstra who netted the first of two goals in a 2-0 win over Groningen in Rotterdam.

In England, Jerome Sinclair was once again a starter for Birmingham City, playing 70 minutes of Friday evening’s 3-0 defeat to Birmingham City at Hillsborough.

Elsewhere, Alex Jakubiak played the last half-hour of Wycombe’s 3-0 defeat to fellow play-off chasing Stevenage in League Two.

Dennon Lewis was an unused substitute for Woking as they went down 3-2 at high-flying Lincoln City in the National League.

La Liga outfit Valencia picked up a point as they drew 0-0 with Real Betis, with midfielder Mario Suárez playing the full game.

Juan Carlos Paredes enjoyed a winning start to life with Olympiakos as they beat Larissa 2-0 to stay 13 points clear at the top of the Greek Super League.
