Loan Lads | Debuts For Sinclair & Oulare

Watford strikers Jerome Sinclair and Obbi Oulare both made debuts at their respective loan clubs over the weekend.

Sinclair, who signed for Birmingham on deadline day, played the first 67 minutes in a 1-0 home win over Fulham on Saturday – the Blues’ first victory under Gianfranco Zola.

Meanwhile in Holland, Oulare was involved for an hour as Willem II lost 3-1 at Heracles. It was the Belgian front-man’s first outing since the end of his loan stint at Zulte Waregem.

Staying in the Eredivisie, Steven Berghuis bagged an assist and featured throughout table-topping Feyenoord’s 2-0 win at Twente on Sunday.

In Spain, Valencia went down 3-0 at home to Eibar, and Mario Suarez played the entire game in midfield.

Having marked his Wycombe debut with a goal from the bench at Exeter in midweek, Alex Jakubiak remained an unused substitute this time as the Chairboys rose to sixth in League 2 thanks to a 1-0 win over Portsmouth.

Michael Folivi and Juan Carlos Paredes are yet to make their debuts for Coventry and Olympiakos respectively, having completed deadline day loan moves away from The Vic.
