Christian Kabasele on the prospect of making his FA Cup bow against Burton

Kabasele | “This Could Be A Good Boost”

The magic of the FA Cup is still very much alive and kicking for defender Christian Kabasele, with the Belgian international in contention to make his debut in the competition against Burton Albion.

Kabasele is well aware of the importance of the FA Cup, having grown up watching the the tournament, and the 25-year-old is fully expecting a tough test when Nigel Clough's men arrive at The Vic, looking to cause an FA Cup upset tomorrow afternoon.

“We are looking forward to the game,” Kabasele said speaking to watfordfc.com

“We’re not in a good period with a lot of injuries and not winning games, but this could be a good boost for us if we can get through this round.

“We are lucky because we face a team from a lower level, but there’s no easy game in the cup. We saw that against Gillingham, and so we will be focused as when we would play against any team in the league.”
