Watford is a great club, with a great history and vision for the future, and I’m just happy to be a part of that
Watford FC striker Jerome Sinclair came through West Bromwich Albion’s Academy setup and impressed sufficiently to earn a move to Liverpool as a 15-year-old in 2011.
Sinclair became the youngest player to ever represent Liverpool when handed a first-team debut – aged just 16 years and six days – in a League Cup tie against his former club Albion in September 2012. The pacey forward went on to play five times for the Reds, scoring during his first start against Exeter City in the FA Cup.
An England international at Under-16 and Under-17 level, Sinclair spent a brief spell on loan at Wigan Athletic in March 2015, making his Latics debut during Watford’s 2-0 win at the DW Stadium.
In June 2016 it was announced that Sinclair would be joining the Hornets on a five year deal, becoming the club’s first new signing ahead of the 2016/17 season.
