Internationals: Belgium Debut For Kabasele
Christian Kabasele made his international debut for Belgium during their 1-1 draw against Holland on Wednesday (November 9).
The Watford defender was a late addition to Roberto Martinez's starting line-up after Man City captain Vincent Kompany withdrew through injury following the warm-up.
Kabasele played the entire 90 minutes in Belgium's back-three as Yannick Carrasco's late equaliser cancelled out a first-half penalty from Holland's Davy Klaasen during the friendly match in Amsterdam.
Fellow Hornet Steven Berghuis - currently on loan at Feyenoord - was an unused substitute for the Dutch.
Juan Carlos Paredes was involved throughout as Ecuador lost 2-1 to Uruguay in World Cup qualifying action yesterday (Thursday November 10).
Ecuador's Felipe Caicedo levelled affairs after Sebastian Coates' opener, but Diego Rolan secured a sixth win out of six at home for the Uruguayans.
Watford's Academy midfielder Rhyle Ovenden was an unused substitute for Wales Under-19, who lost their opening 2017 UEFA Under-19 qualifier 2-0 to Greece.
The Hornets' second-year scholar will hope to be involved as Wales take on England tomorrow (Saturday November 12).
