Injury Update | Kaboul & Prödl Latest

There's positive news from the treatment room this week as Performance Director Gavin Benjafield confirms that defender Sebastian Prödl is progressing quicker than expected.

"He is now at the introductory stage of field rehabilitation and being monitored closely and will move from field rehabilitation to re-integrating with the team in the near future," said Benjafield.

Fellow defender Younès Kaboul has been receiving treatment for the last week since injuring his hamstring at Southampton.

"Younès has now had his follow-up ultrasound scan with a specialist that has determined that surgery is not required for his rehabilitation," confirmed Benjafield.

"His rehab work, which will be extensive, has already begun with us at the training ground."

Long-term absentees Tommie Hoban and Craig Cathcart are both continuing their rehabilitation from recent surgery.
