Kiko Femenía believes Watford possess the right tools to be able to achieve a positive result against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

“We clearly know the importance of the next match and the size of the rivals,” said the Spaniard, speaking ahead of Saturday’s game at Vicarage Road.

“It’s going to be a very difficult match but we have to go in there with the right mentality, with what we know that we can do, and if we play with the right attitude I think we can hurt them and take some points from the game.”

Spurs – who sit just one position and three points above the Hornets in the Premier League standings – are without a win in their last three league outings, but Femenía is in no doubt as to the quality of Watford’s opponents this weekend.

“They’ve been showing year after year that they’re great players,” said the right-back.

“Playing in the Premier League allows you to face great clubs and great names each week, but this is a game 11 vs. 11 and we have great players as well, so it will be an interesting match.”

Awards | Richarlison's November Nomination

Watford winger Richarlison's fine form has seen him nominated for the PFA Premier League Player of the Month award for November.

The Brazilian Under-20 international played four times during the month of November, scoring goals against Everton and West Ham as well as assisting Andre Gray's strike at Newcastle United.

It's been a fine start to life at Vicarage Road for the 20-year-old, who has found the net five times in total since signing from Fluminense in August.

Voting closes at 8am on Monday (December 4).
