End Of Season Awards: Foster Named Players' Player

The champagne CARBON Players’ Player of the Season for 2018/19 is Ben Foster, as voted by his Watford teammates.

The goalkeeper returned to the club in the summer, having previously won the Player of the Season Award while on-loan from Manchester United for the 2006/07 campaign.

He’s displaced the hugely-popular Heurelho Gomes, while retaining the admiration and friendship of the big Brazilian, and their understudy Pontus Dahlberg – a real goalkeeping team if ever there was one.

The likeable shot-stopper has kept seven clean sheets for the Hornets, and has also saved one penalty, as the club have enjoyed a campaign that saw them break their highest Premier League points total.

He also holds the record for the most Premier League saves* (since records began), with 1,050 over the course of his career.

End Of Season Awards: Individual Performance Goes To Deulofeu

Gerard Deulofeu has won the DUAL asset Individual Performance of the Season award for his match-winning display at Wembley against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup.

The Spanish winger scored two goals in a stunning performance off the bench, as the Hornets came back from two goals down to win in extra time and reach the club's first FA Cup final in 35 years.

First he beat John Ruddy with an exquisite chip to reduce arrears to 2-1, before latching onto Andre Gray's pass to slot past the Wolves keeper for 3-2, after Troy Deeney had taken the game to extra time with a 94th-minute penalty.
