Marseille right wing-back Brice Dja Djédjé added to Watford’s squad…

Official | Hornets Sign Dja Djédjé

THE HORNETS are pleased to announce the permanent signing of Ivory Coast international Brice Dja Djédjé.

The 25-year-old right wing-back has moved to Watford in a four-year deal from Marseille, where he featured 70 times during two-and-a-half seasons at the Stade Vélodrome.

He first broke through at Evian in 2010, making 105 appearances and playing a prominent role in the French outfit’s promotion to Ligue 1 during his first season.

Dja Djédjé has played seven times for the Ivory Coast national team and also represented his country at Under-23 and Under-20 levels.

He becomes the Hornets’ fifth summer signing ahead of the 2016/17 Premier League campaign, following the capture of Jerome Sinclair, Christian Kabasele, Isaac Success and Juan Camilo Zúñiga, while Abdoulaye Doucoure has also joined up with the squad for the first time following his signing during the January transfer window.
