Brice Dja Djédjé joined Watford on a four-year deal from Marseille in July 2016.

His first season at with the Hornets didn't quite go to plan, with injuries restricting him to just two FA Cup appearances in yellow during 2016/17.

The full-back arrived at The Vic off the back of a successful stint at Marseille, where he made 70 appearances during a two-and-a-half season spell.

The powerful right-side man featured over 100 times for French outfit Evian prior to this, as he first broke through at the club in 2010, playing a prominent role in their promotion to Ligue 1 during his first season.

Djédjé earned international recognition for his performances in Ligue 1 for Evain, receiving his first call-up for Ivory Coast in August 2013, and has since gone on to make seven appearances for the national side.
