French defender Younès Kaboul has been operated on and is five weeks into his rehab now.
He had previously been progressing well from a hamstring injury and was training with the team. However, he developed pain in his right foot which was diagnosed as a metatarsal fracture.
It is hoped Kaboul will be back in the next five to six weeks.
Craig Cathcart continues to progress. He is now doing pitch work at the training ground and it is hoped he will re-integrate into full training within the next few weeks.
Miguel Britos developed bruising on his foot following the game at Newcastle. The Uruguayan is progressing as he should and is being assessed daily.
Finally, Nathaniel Chalobah is also progressing well. He is currently at St George's Park for a spell and he'll then return to the Hornets' training ground to continue his pitch rehab after the Christmas period.
