Women: Teyah Goldie Arrives On Dual-Sign Agreement

The Golden Girls are pleased to announce the arrival of Teyah Goldie on a dual-sign agreement from Arsenal.

Goldie is Watford’s second signing of the window, joining centre-back Morgan Rogers, who arrived at the club last week.

A talented defender who can play several positions, Goldie is already making her mark on the women’s game.

Now 17 years old, she made her Arsenal debut at just 16, playing a part in their 10-0 win over Gillingham in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup.

She would go on to make further appearances in the competition, including in the semi-final versus Brighton & Hove Albion. Goldie was also a part of the Gunners’ squad for the final against Chelsea back at Wembley in December.

Highly rated by the coaching set-up at Arsenal, she was handed her Barclays FA Women’s Super League debut against Leicester City a little over a month ago.

She’s also been involved a couple of times in the UEFA Women’s Champions League and has been a regular in their matchday squads for the competition this season.

The new addition will bring leadership qualities to the Hornets; she is an England Under-19 international and captain of the side.

Now, it’s time to make an impact with the Golden Girls. The defender will wear number 23 and is eligible for selection this weekend against Blackburn Rovers.

Welcome to Watford, Teyah!
