The Golden Girls are pleased to confirm that Shauna Vassell has joined the club, with the full-back becoming the team’s third addition of the January transfer window.
Vassell links up with the Hornets having played in the Norwegian top tier with Stabæk last year.
The former England Under-17 international originally came through the Arsenal set-up, winning honours and captaining their academy side.
She made the move to senior football ahead of the 2020/21 campaign, linking up with Charlton Athletic in the FA Women’s Championship. Vassell’s impressive form in her 17 league appearances saw her named Supporters’ Player of the Year.
A spell in a new country followed, however the 20-year-old is now back in England and raring to make her mark with the Golden Girls.
The right-back, who can also play further forward, has been handed the number 28 shirt. She will be available for selection immediately, starting with a trip to her former club Charlton on February 6.
