Women: Kings Langley Guide

By: Watford FC Staff

After playing the first three home league games at Vicarage Road, the Golden Girls will now have a spell playing at our other home ground, Kings Langley FC.

Haven’t been to The Orbital Fasteners Stadium previously? Here’s a guide with some key information.

Getting To The Ground

Train

If arriving by train, the Orbital Fasteners Stadium is within walking distance of a couple of stations. Apsley on London Northwestern Railway is the closest – just a 15-20 minute walk away.

Also within walking distance is Kings Langley station (on the same line), which is approximately a 25-30 minute walk away, with the route taking you through the town centre.

The usual service is one train every hour, although the exact minute of these do vary ever so slightly. For midweek games, the last trains are more than two hours after the final whistle.

Further information on journey times and potential engineering works can be found here.

Car

If travelling by car, please note there will be no parking available at the stadium. Parking is readily available in the town centre and by the surrounding areas around the ground.

We recommend using Langley Hill Car Park or The Nap Car Park. These are in the town centre and a 10-15 minute walk from the ground. Parking is also free.

The postcode of the ground is WD4 8BS. If wishing to plan your journey via Google Maps, you can do so here.

Bus

The 501 bus runs from Watford High Street and other locations around the Watford area, stopping just two minutes from Kings Langley FC (Coniston Road stop).

Services run every hour with timings (from High Street Stop B) as follows: 12pm, 1pm, 2pm. A full timetable can be found here.

Please note that after the game, the last service that runs is the 17:32.

Tickets

These can be purchased in advance online up until 5pm on Friday by visiting here.

If buying or collecting on the day, you will need to go inside the clubhouse. Stewards will be on hand to direct you on the day.

Tickets are priced at £12 for adults and £5 for concessions*. These are both reduced by £2 if you’re a Watford FC Season Ticket Holder.

*Concessions are as follows: 65 and over, full time students and 18 and under.

Arrival

Kick-off is usually at 3pm for weekend fixtures and 7:30pm for midweek fixtures, although this can change on a match-by-match basis (EG Sunderland on November 14 is 3:30pm). Turnstiles will open at least an hour before the game starts.

We recommend an earlier arrival time where possible. If buying, or collecting complimentary tickets, please allow plenty of time.

Entrance

There are two turnstiles in operation at the ground, and these will be visible as you approach the ground. Disabled access will be to the left-hand side of these.

Dogs

Dogs are more than welcome at the ground, with water readily available.

We do please ask that dogs are kept on their lead at all times.

Stay Safe

While the wearing of masks is encouraged, it is not compulsory while at your seat watching the game. We do ask that while walking around and using the indoor areas of the stadium, that you do wear a face covering, unless you are exempt.

Stands

For those who would rather watch the match sitting down, a seated stand is available on the side. For those who wish to stand, uncovered terracing is available on the side and behind both goals.

A disabled area is also available – this is covered and raised above pitch level.

Please note: Due to red zone restrictions, the covered terracing on the side will not be accessible to supporters. The seating behind the goal is also no longer available.

Food & Drink

A burger van will be open serving a range of food and drinks, accepting both cash and card. Drinks and snacks are also available in the clubhouse.
