Women: Howard Joins On Emergency Loan

Watford FC Women confirms the emergency loan signing of Southampton goalkeeper Beth Howard.

The 28-year-old joins with both shot stoppers at the Hornets - Safia Middleton-Patel and Jacqui Goldsmid - currently out with injuries.

Howard is available to make her debut for the Golden Girls in the Barclays Women's Championship clash at Lewes on Sunday (March 17).

She joined Southampton from Bridgwater United in January 2023 and has also represented Yeovil Town and Rider University in the United States.

The keeper has played twice in the Championship for Southampton this season, including in their 3-0 victory over Watford at St Mary's in January.
