Watford FC Women are pleased to confirm the arrival of goalkeeper Safia Middleton-Patel on a dual-sign agreement from Manchester United.
The Wales international, who has played for the Red Devils since moving from Liverpool in 2020, joins the Golden Girls until the end of the season, with prior experience in the Barclays Women’s Championship at Blackburn Rovers and Coventry United.
The stopper was first capped at senior level for the Dragons in February 2023, keeping a clean sheet against the Phillipines in the Pinatar Cup.
Middleton-Patel will wear the number one shirt for the Hornets, and has signed in time for Sunday’s league meeting at Southampton (January 21, 2pm KO),
