The Golden Girls’ match away at Charlton Athletic Women on Sunday February 6 (2pm KO) has been chosen for live coverage on The FA Player.
It means that if you can’t make it to VCD Athletic to cheer the team on in person, you’ll be able to watch for free on the FA’s streaming service.
While Charlton were victorious at Vicarage Road in the league fixture between the two teams earlier in the campaign, the Hornets have been much improved in the months since – taking points in four of the last six Championship fixtures.
Watford came incredibly close to getting something away at league leaders Liverpool last weekend, with things looking encouraging under the guidance of current Interim Head Coach, Gifton Noel-Williams.
Next up is a home game against Blackburn Rovers (Jan 23). After that though is the Charlton match-up, and the team will be eager to show what they can do to a wider audience.
