Watford FC Women are delighted to announce that Arsenal trio Michelle Agyemang, Katie Reid and Laila Harbert have all joined the Hornets on dual-sign agreements.

The exciting youngsters bolster the ranks ahead of the 2023/24 Barclays Women’s Championship campaign, having linked up with Damon Lathrope’s squad during pre-season.

Agyemang, 17, is a clinical forward who has already found the target for the Gunners’ first-team, scoring in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup against Leeds United last term.

A member of Arsenal’s academy since the age of six, Agyemang made her senior debut 10 years later, last November, while she is also an England youth international at Under-17 level.

The North London side reached an agreement over professional terms with Agyemang in June, with the teenager committing to the deal when she turns 18 in February 2024.

Defender Reid is also part of the Young Lionesses set-up and scored a header in the Under-17 European Championship semi-finals against Spain in May, impressing from the backline throughout the tournament.

The 16-year-old is comfortable with the ball at her feet and can progress possession into midfield.

Creative midfielder Harbert is regularly involved with Arsenal’s first-team training, and was named on the substitutes’ bench in the UEFA Champions League for their semi-final against Wolfsburg earlier this year alongside her fellow dual-signees.

Harbert, together with former Hornet Teyah Goldie, was on the scoresheet in April as the Arsenal academy won the Capital Women’s Cup final against AFC Wimbledon.

It’s great to have you all with us, girls!
