Getting To The Ground

Train/Tube

Grosvenor Vale is incredibly well connected by public transport, with several stations within walking distance.

Ruislip and Ruislip Manor are the two nearest. Both are a 5-10 minute walk from the ground and on the Metropolitan/Piccadilly line. For those coming from Watford on the Metropolitan line, it’s a simple change at Harrow-on-the-Hill station.

Another route if travelling from Watford is to take the London Overground from Watford Junction/Watford High Street to Kenton. From there it’s a short walk to Northwick Park, where you can pick up the Metropolitan line.

If travelling from elsewhere you can also use Ruislip Gardens on the Central line, which is approximately a 15 minute walk. West Ruislip is on the same line which is around 20 minutes away, while also providing some National Rail services.

Car

If you are travelling from Watford, it should take you approximately 25-35 minutes to get to Wealdstone on a Sunday.

The postcode of the ground is HA4 6JQ. If wishing to plan your journey via Google Maps, you can do so HERE.

There will be free parking at the stadium, however space is limited. Street parking is also available near the stadium, while there are also several car parks within the vicinity of the ground.

Ruislip Station has plenty of spaces and costs £1.50, while Kingsend South (Long Stay), Kingsend North, Pembroke Gardens, and Linden Avenue all offer free parking on a Sunday and are within a 10-20 minute walk.

If you require accessible parking at the ground, please email laura.dyer@watfordfc.com and this will be sorted for you.

Bus

Depending on where you are located, the bus could be a great option for you to get to Wealdstone, with numerous routes stopping within 5-10 minutes of the ground.

The closest bus stop to the ground is Grosvenor Vale bus stop which is served by the E7 bus, which runs between Ruislip station and Ealing Broadway. Bus routes 114, 278, 331, 398, H13, U1 and U10 also stop at the nearby Ruislip station.

Arrival/Entrance

At the time of writing, all of our Sunday home fixtures are 2pm kick-offs, with midweek games at 7.45pm. We would recommend arriving in plenty of time to ensure a smooth entrance into the stadium.

There will be two turnstiles on the day. Supporters can pay on the day in the box office.

There are two accessible entrances, one at each end of the stadium, and plenty of places for wheelchair users and ambulant disabled supporters. Please approach our stewards, who will open the entrance for you.

Stands

For those who would rather watch the match sitting down, there are covered seated stands on the side and behind the goal. If you prefer to stand, covered and uncovered terracing is also available.

Food & Drink

There are food areas in the stadium grounds and a bar inside the Wealdstone clubhouse. Food and drink at the bar can be purchased with cash and card, with outlets inside the stadium also cash and card.

Younger Fans

At every home game we will be on the lookout for a lucky family to win a money can’t buy moment – watching the warm-up from the subs bench. We will also have a face painter at the ground for those of you wanting to adorn the club colours.

Finally, there is plenty of space around the pitch for children to move to get a good view, and food and drink available to keep them energised for the whole game. We want all children and their families to enjoy the day and see where they could be in years to come.
